ADAMA ALAJI

“The Voice of Resurrection”

Adama has been vegan for over thirty-five years. She is an Inspirational Lifestyle Change and Wholistic Wellness Consultant providing spiritual, nutritional and dietary support to facilitate cleansing, healing, and regeneration of the body, heart, mind and soul. 
She graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. in Psychology, Presidential Awards, Scholastic, Leadership, and Organizational Awards and Honors.  Returning to her birthplace, Atlanta, she became a student of Conscious Cosmic Citizenship and the Yunaversity of Cosmic Wisdom. Currently she hosts, “The Meeting of the Inner Circle” every third Sunday from 3pm to 7pm at the Core Spa in East Point. She also holds a Sister’s Circle at the Core every Sunday 3pm to 7pm.

Adama has worked as a consultant for Wholistic Stress Control Institute, Inc. Providing Life Skills, Art of Being, and Poetry classes for imprisoned youth through Lorenzo Benn Youth Development Center, Metro Youth Detention Center, Dunbar Community Center, and over 2,000 Atlanta youth through Department of Parks and Recreation in 1999. She also taught life skills to 4-12 year olds with Gate City Heritage Preparatory Day school, Horizons Private School, and in the Atlanta Public Schools.

President and co-owner of Mother Earth Adornments, Inc., she was committed to the “adornment of the whole being, body, heart, mind, soul and more!”  She maintained a retail outlet in Little 5 Points for 5 years housing both the “Beadery” specializing in custom adornments, creative, consultation repairs, and beads and findings from the world over and the “Eatery”…specializing in strictly vegan cuisine, nutritional, dietary, and spiritual consultation, networking and referral services. 

Every Thursday night, midnight to 3am, Adama  produces and hosts a radio program with 89.3 FM WRFG Atlanta called the “Meeting of the Inner Circle”. This program provides inspirational, motivational and informational programming – much needed “life-support”, dealing with issues particularly, but not exclusively, pertinent to African Americans. The program is formatted to introduce the music and works of local and national artists, musicians, healers, poets, authors, activists, as well as open phone lines to facilitate greater conscientiousness and communication with the listening audience.

Hostess & DJ SHERIESE NICOLE

Atlanta Tastemaker Sheriese Nicole serves the world as a mother, entrepreneur, emcee, musician, holistic life coach, radio show host/DJ, event promoter/producer, and social activist. All aspects of Sheriese’s work is focused on the healing of her people thus humanity with her creative stylish flare. She has a gift for harnessing and properly channeling beautiful energy for and during purposeful gathering. As an advocate for reproductive, birthing, and parenting rights, she has founded the acclaimed radio series ‘Misconceptions About Conception.’

Sheriese is a visionary and overall producer that has pioneered Health/Healing and youth arts development movements in Atlanta. Including the co-creation, marketing, and branding of youth focused family and health/wellness community building event-‘Spirit Dance’, also InI Radio, Kombucha Cafe,  Maximum Sound the Band, WRFG Healer Series, and Music Supervisor of ‘The Film Black Friday 2’. She can be heard every Friday on “I n I Radio” from 10am to noon on WRFG 89.3FM.

CHEF ZU

Kings Apron was founded in 2017 by sustainable plant based chef and certified holistic nutritionist Chef Zu. Kings Apron’s mission is to empower individuals by offering on-site educational resources. The primary focus is teaching Nutrition and Sustainability as well as Food Literacy and Food Sovereignty through culinary arts. Kings Apron collaborates with local organizations, urban growers, and residents within low income communities to help them develop practical ways on how to sustain health and wellness through nutrition.

Chef Zu specializes in transitional Plant Based Soul Food & Farm-to-Table Cuisine. He also lectures as well as facilitates community workshops, live demonstrations, private dinners and cooking classes. Kings Apron has facilitated healthy food programming for Atlanta Community Food Bank, Georgia Organics, Food Well Alliance, Morehouse, Georgia Tech, Morehouse School of Medicine, Atlanta Fulton County Library Systems, City of Atlanta Department of Sustainability, Atlanta Housing Authority, Georgia Food Oasis, Georgia House of Covenant, Fulton County Commissioner District 5, Taste of Atlanta and many more local Atlanta non-profits and community initiatives.

CHEF DUECE

Chef Duece Osanyin is a native of Los Angeles, California and began his health and wellness journey attending “The Institute Of Integrative Nutrition” in New York City. He decided to further his endeavors in Culinary Arts, under the guidance of an internship with Celebrity Chef Lauren Von Dor Pool. Chef Duece lives by the motto that “Art Is Food & Food Is Art”.

Chef Nikki In the Mix

A native of Atlanta, GA, Nikki fell in love with cooking once she decided to go vegan. She  made the transition to a plant-based lifestyle in March 2016. During that transition, she challenged herself to create meals she enjoyed before going vegan. Her dishes range from comfort foods to raw healing foods. Nikki currently offers in house cooking demonstrations, personal grocery shopping assistance and private meals.

She is also an animal rights activist and works full-time to bring awareness to animal cruelty. In December 2017, Nikki and her partner, Grey, started an animal save group in Atlanta called the One Love Animal Save. She believes if you see where your food comes from you would think twice about eating it.
